  • Maxtrax in Brisbane

Guys and Girls, we are heading off to Fraser Island again in June and this time we are travelling solo with 4 adults and two kids on board.
I have two maxtrax but was looking too borrow two more for the trip( a week in June) as extra insurance, in return a carton of beer or similar as a far trade.
Obviously any damage or loss they would be replaced, but i certainly don't anticipate anything like that as they will be locked to the rhino rack a long with my two.

If anyone in Brisbane is willing and happy to help could please PM me.

    Thanks, Rob.

You can have mine for the week then... I'll be on a road trip that weekend but more time will be spent around a log fire with a glass of red wine in hand than 4WDing

I'll give you a call when I get back from Melb next week and organise a drop off.
                Cheers, Leon

                        G'day Ben,

                        Thanks for the Birthday wish.

Sorry, I completely missed your post. I've had a habit of racing through PP recently. Just doing enough to keep planned trips ticking over.

I'm planning on doing the 1st leg of our travels to the GTG. That will test out our travel time to see if I'm close. So we'll be heading through the Richmond Ranges and camp by the Clarence at Alice, NSW. I'm then tempted to return via one of the 4WD parks... probably Levuka.

                        Cheers mate.

                        Matt.

                              Hey Hutch,

Just been searching through maxtrax threads and found this one which wasn't what i was looking for but wondering how you lock them to your roof rack? I haven't got any but see they have some holes in them do you have a bike lock or something? I was presuming should I purchase some I would put them in a bag or something to hide their distinctive orange colour.

Hope you had a good trip by the time you read this and didn't need to use them too much..

                              Cheers
