Thanks for the heads up... Good ol' Toyota and their 5% difference meant my 120 roof racks didn't suit the 150 rails

Just putting it out there - there's 25% off Rhino stuff at AutoBarn this weekend. Usually it's only if they have it in stock, but;

1. Often AutoOne follows suit - just ask them to price match if they have it in stock and they will (how I got mine)
2. The bits and pieces (roller bars, tie down rings, ratchet straps, holders for wheels, jerry cans that the like - are all bloody expensive - easily can run to $350 or more. This is the time to get that stuff.

At least - that's NSW and ACT. If it's not QLD then I'd be surprised. More often than not, the 25% off is also on-line, but they have far fewer items they sell on line (eg, no Jerry can holder, Gas bottle holder, Wheel holder, roller bars etc...)

Didn't see this earlier and too busy chewing Darren Pipers ears about stuff. it's got allowances for the forward mount camera and parking sensors but I didn't ask about shadows etc...

Be sure to grab lots of photos for us Snaga!
I'm evaluating options for the 2018 150 now too. Still haven't heard anything definitive about shadows from the headlights from the bars, or interference with the radar cruise....

Thanks for the promo code. We went for a look this morning with our two kids (3yr & 9mth old) and they made our visit a bit shorter than I had hoped. I still had time to price up a rhino platform but they couldn’t match auto barn 25% off sale. So on our way home the boss allowed me to order a backbone mounting system and rhino platform for our 2018 Prado which we are picking up this week. Will post picks once installed.

The old credit card took a hiding it won't forget for a while today unfortunately. Got a rhino tray on the way down at Autobarn and then a safari snorkle at the expo. And then On the way back home I stopped in at supacenter for a 42 inch light bar to mount on the rack.

I picked up a Narva cable crimper for $90 with a free genuine Anderson plug at the show.
On the way home I dropped into 4wd supacentre and got a kings big daddy deluxe swag, head led light and 12V shower thingy for camping.
Plenty of stuff to spend ya money on but no huge bargains.
