120 Rims and Tyres Upgrade

Ladies and Gents, sincere apologies for my naivety and raising a topic no doubt asked and answered a million times before, my excuse, I'm a previous 80 Series Owner!!!!

Have just purchased a 2007 GX with standard suspension, tyres are shot, and I'd like to upgrade/improve. a) Do 150 GXL Rims fit (think they are advertised on GT as 17 x 7.5), Will BFG's AT KO's (265/70/17) fit on Standard 120 Series GX Rims, or the 150 Series Rims?

Essentially, Whats the best AT style upgrade I can do with minimum expense?

Principally its a family wagon with 10% WA pea gravel and Sandy beach for fishing camping with the boys!

Appreciate the input and advice.

Welcome to the forum. Does your car have the external body moulds. I can’t remember if the 2007 GX had the skinny steel wheels. You might find the later model wheels will stick out past the wheels arch.
