Engine overheating alarm.
I was talking to a gentleman around camp who told me about this warning system. Has anyone else seen it before and does anyone have it fitted?

Yep, I have one of them. I think it was the hilux one. The sensor screws into the top radiator tank. I also had one on my previous Discovery.

They are a low coolant alarm rather than a temperature alarm, although if your coolant is low you will overheat sooner or later. There are a few around here that run them also. Cheap insurance against a stick in the radiator personally.
