Hi I have a 150 Prado and sustained damage underside ,just wondering if one knows what this wire is for , it's located engine side of main. Frame , just underneath passage floor , cheers

It looks strikingly like the outside temperature sensor.

Highly doubt it is a temp sensor, they are located behind the Grille.

I would suggest it looks like a blanking plug and if that is the side step mount it is likely for the under step courtesy lights that some upper models have.

Defo not, wrong colour cabling, wrong plug type, they are located in the B pillar.

I have 'em too and through they were yaw-type sensor for the stability control?

Nope.. Wrong type of end device, certainly not a yaw device, and they aren't fitted under there anyway... I still say that's a blanking plug for the step courtesy lights some model have.

they are for the courtesy lights on the Kakadu models for the side steps.
