Consider the KAON "Light Cargo or Pet Barrier":

            http://www.kaon.com.au/store/p4/Prad...Kakadu%29.html

I've got one in my 2018 Prado GX, and it works well for us.

A number of other PradoPointers have one of these too.

It's doesn't meet the "AS/NZS4034.1:2008 - Motor Vehicles - Cargo barriers for occupant protection" standard, but it is pretty solid.

            - Maximises cargo space because it sits very flush up against the head rests. It's adjustable too.
            - There is minimal gap next to the windows for SRS air bags. Less than Autosafe and Toyota anyway.
            - Very easy to install and remove. Handy if you need to transport something long.
            - Light weight.

I agree. They are easy to install / remove after the first install. Seem to do the job well.
