To assist with the Xmas shopping on TV last night they demonstrated Westfields app that actually shows the vacant parking spaces in various enabled parking areas, great idea but how do you get recepyion in some of the car parking stations?

See at the Xmas Sales, Richo.

I got the email only yesterday regarding the HEMA iPhone / iPad app.
Makes me wonder if stuff like this will ever be developed for Android.
It's obviously still a world where Apples are favoured over Oranges. LOL

I was looking at the same thing yesterday following reading this thread. $179 is still too steep for me... I don't know how useful the 250K maps would be either...

$179 is steep. You can get a discount of +-25% if you shop around for itunes vouchers and load them as credit in your itunes account. http://www.giftcardsonsale.com.au list the latest specials on the cards. I buy all my apps like this. Saves a lot of money.

I use 4x4 Gyro. This one seems pretty good. The itunes apps search should bring it up...
Another App (unrelated) I like to use is a travel expenses app called Road Trip. You can keep an eye on fuel usage (multiple vehicles and all associated running costs. Very cool.

Hey this is a nice App Peter! More options than 4x4 Gyro that I use also. You can even change the look of the vehicle (even has an FJ Cruiser!)

Just search "Vehicle Clinometer" in the app store and install. No need to purchase, it's free. You will however need an iTunes account.
