150 series with roof rack/basket wind noise - PLEASE HELP!

Hi all, newbie here. Had my 2012 150 series GX for about 2 months now and I absolutely love it! Just installed a Kings full length roof rack/basket directly into the roof channel (not on racks) and I'm getting terrible wind noise, even at 50km. It's not a squeal, more sounds like its blowing a gale on the roof!

I'd assume its because of the flat plate of steel at the front of the rack creating a bit of drag , has anyone installed deflectors on or below the rack to any success? Any help would be great, cheers!

Roof baskets = noise.

It's because of the mesh. Did you get the longest one?
