Hi all,
I wondering what devices people are using to run their TorquePro app, that is if they are using that app? Their normal mobile phones or something else?
My TorquePro is loaded on an old spare Android phone that had its SIM card removed (basically the phone was free). It is convenient, as use of my normal phone is not impacted with set up of TorquePro in the vehicle. I can leave the old device in the vehicle, if I wished.
My problem is that the old phone is starting to fail with intermittent loss of connectivity with Bluetooth and Wifi in its Settings.
Hence I am starting to think about replacement options. I do not want to use my normal mobile phone but rather, something separate.
I am considering using a spare 7" Hewlett Package tablet device which I have. I understand that it can be converted to be an Android device but it seems to need more memory as well, which could be done. Mounting that device on the dash could be fun too.
Or acquiring another Android phone without a SIM card.
Any hints?
Thanks
