Rhino-Rack Batwing on Kings steel flat roof rack

Hi, I've got a flat steel roof rack from Adventure Kings / 4WD SupaCenter and looking at getting the Rhino-Rack Batwing 270 degree awning. I am told the awning comes with a multi-fit mounting fitting kit, but do I need any extra brackets etc? I am going to invest in a Rhino-Rack Pioneer rack soon, so I don't really want to pay $100+ for a special mounting kit just for a temporary fix.
