  • Prado Head Unit Nav disabled when in motion

    Hey guys and girls,

I'm a newb here obviously, so my apologies of this has been discussed many times. I can't understand how it wouldn't have been discussed yet though. I have done some searches, but couldn't find exactly what I am looking for. I have a 2016 Prado GXL.
So the NAV controls and some other 'random' head unit controls are disabled when my car reaches a certain speed. If the car is crawling VERY slowly, the controls work, but speed up and you lose them. 100% sh1t 'feature' in a passenger car where it is very likely to have a passenger that is not in control of the car and can use these features safely. Sorry, that was a vent.

Is it possible to disable this 'feature' or change to something else that also utilises the buttons surrounding OEM touch screen?

    Thanks in advance!

    Michael
