1999 v6 Grande, ignition circuit issue
Hey guys, driving a few days ago and noticed the air con and fan suddenly just stopped, then noticed gauges not working either. Went to pull over to check things and no indicators either.
Have checked all fuses, relays and fusible links with no obvious issues. Car still starts and drives and the wipers still, work too.
Obviously I'm missing something here,. All the wires from the key barrel have power when they need to, acc, ign, start.
Also the alternator is not getting ignition signal so not charging either, yet if I run a cable from the battery + to the ignition input on the alternator it fires up and starts charging and the indicators work.(not sure if gauges start working my neck not long enough to see inside while I did this)
