  • Metal clunk through steering column

Hi all, 2009 120 series GX.
I have a clunk that travels trough the steering column...control arm bushes and ball joints all check and fine (lower control arms recently replaced.
    • It only happens at low speed 10-20kmh going over bumps
    • It only happens on RH front wheel
I am just trying to eliminate a few things so i am not swapping parts out for the hell of it.

    Possibillities?
Steering rack end bush (if so can these be replaced as a part without replacing the rack like older cars?)
A worn spline in the steering colum?
A universal joint in the steering column ( I have checked the bottom one that connects to the rack and cannot fault)

Any feedback or similar issue knowledge would be appreciated.

    Regards

Possibly a collapsed shock. Look for oil stains around the lower parts of the front shock
