Vinyl wrap for a Prado

Hi all,

Wanted to see if anyone here has experience with doing a vinyl wrap for a Prado?

Initially thought it could be a nice way to customise colour of my new Prado, though I now really like the glacier white, so thinking may just wrap in gloss white (with some black bits for aesthetics) mainly to protect the paint. Getting it done professionally is crazy expensive ($3500-5000)... but the vinyl itself costs <$1000 and seems fairly simple to DIY.

If anyone has experience with this or has considered it, would appreciate thoughts!

Not me. I don't think a vinyl finish is compatible with my style of four-wheel driving. Now, if I had a car that never went off sealed roads...

May look easy to apply, But I can assure you, vinyl quality, thickness and installation is important and getting it to hold properly to some of the angles and shapes can be a real challenge for DIY..
