  • Landcruiser forum

    Hi all,
It's been sometime since I posted, but recently I sold the trusty 150 series after 200kkms and many great trips. I couldn't bring myself to buy another one as the power wasn't up to scratch for towing my trailer therefore I have bought a LC300.

I was looking for recommendations for a landcruiser forum. I have had no luck with lcool, I managed to register after following what seemed like a complicated set of clues, but then haven't been able to log on since. The forum page just doesn't respond.

Is there any other forums you could recommend ?

P.S. when the Prado gets a >190kw engine I am back for sure !

    Can’t help with a 300 forum, but….Prado’s did once have a >190kw engine, the 4.0L V6 petrol.

LC300 is basically a long nose Prado. With less legroom.

I have read in other forums that the landcruiser forum had some technical cyber issues. Its regular members could not get access. I understood it might be a while before it is going again. I am not a member so my information is only hearsay. I cannot vouch for it.

I have read on other forums that LCOOL is down, and will take some time to come back up. It's causing a lot of angst among LC owners.

p.s. woops. for some reason I didn't see watsea's reply saying the same thing. There is an LC300 FB group.

LCOOL has been down for weeks now. No indication at all on the main non-forum part of the site as to what the problem is etc.
