What seats are in my GXL 2022

Hey all,

We have a GXL 2022 with the leather upgrade. We are planning a big trip and I want to get some black duck seat covers to protect the leather. I’m just wondering if anyone knows if the seats with the leather upgrade are from the VX as the options to order from the GX/GXL seem different to the VX/ Kakadu.

not answering your question directly but could you use throwover seat covers.
I happened to collect something from the "Outback Equipment" show room in Brisbane and they had good quality neoprene throwover type seat covers for bucket seats, on display. Looked good quality and good to use for the occasional trip. Probably much cheaper than something from Black Duck.

I have also read (unconfirmed) that leather needs to breathe, and some seat covers do not breathe which diminishes the quality of the leather.

No luck for me finding the throwover neoprene covers on their website but using my iPad at the moment and it doesn't run so well on some websites. They take phone calls.
