delete halogen headlights from GX - for LED setup from VX or GXL

Not sure if this has been asked before, but can the headlamps of the GXL (or VX..) be easily retrofitted to the GX? Just need that mordern front look of the LED and DRLs on the GX (by removing those plain looking dull halogen lights).

Short answer… no
Definitely not worth the effort either. LED headlights are marginally better if at all than a decent halogen. If light is what you are chasing, get some spotties or a light bar.
First problem is you won’t be legal. You’ll need to install the auto levelling potentiometer on the rear trailing arm and the head light sprayers in the bumper. Even after that, I’m still not sure on the legalities as your vehicle didn’t come standard with LED lights.
Second is the cost… almost cheaper to upgrade to a gxl than to buy 2 headlights and the associated gear

it's just the modern look am after not so much the amount of light.

GXL has the LED but does not have auto-levelling function? Nor those sprayers..?

My 2019 GXL had LED Headlights and self levellers and sprayers as its standard. As far as I know, if LED headlights are used, they must be self levelling.

As before, a change is not worth the effort and the issue with legalities.

Gxl does have the auto leveller and sprayers. It’s a requirement for LED lights to help stop the light being scattered or aimed too high as they are a lot more aggressive light when shone into the eyes of on coming traffic.
