Prado 120 Series Jack Box Hole ??

Can anyone tell me what the “Jack Box Hole” in the centre of the rear bumper is for ?? Under the little plastic cover is an arrow pointing forward on an angle to the right ! Can’t find anything on line regarding its purpose ?? Does someone know ??

That would be for the Prado's that have the spare under the car ,which we didn't get in Aus but other country.
