    How Many KM'S on your KZTE 3.0LD

    This topic has surely been covered before but I am very interested to find out how many K/M'S your KZTE'S have done. Many South Africans dont have much faith in the engine and your input would be interesting. I have 225000km on so far with no problems . I would love to do 500000 amd more km with my 120

    The 1KZTE TD is a solid motor (betroubare) overall. I've heard there can be some head gasket problems between cylinders 3-4 at around 200,000km. Make sure you service the cooling system regularly and use high quality Toyota coolant to avoid overheating issues.

        I've a 2006 120 but have only doen about 54000. But a lot of that has been touring or 4wding. Just need to add a little bit more go go and she will be right.

          145km on the clock on mine, ive done 75km since i go it in 07, going well no problems. cheers samo
          had an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.

            165,000 i just change the oil now and then all is good ( i do have some oil leaking aroud the throttle body i think a gasket is gone)
            Dont list all ya mods, you will only be more upset when i get further

              190000k's going strong!
              change oil every 5000 and always keep air filter as clean as possible. Only thing geting done is the injectors next week as they have never been touched.

                245,000 just had the injectors and pump serviced and done all belts and hoses, still going strong

                  296k and still going & going & going like an everready battery. Just regular oil change & timing belt @ 180k
