Anyone know of anywhere that has a good price on the Waeco CFX Wireless Temp Gauge right now? The place I bought my slide has them for $50 incl postage, that's the cheapest I've found.

Waeco have brought back the cf50 a few months ago.

It's not uncommon to see them at rays or Bcf for $899. They come standard with a cover.

Nearly as good value as an engel eclipse everyday price $799.
The basket is larger than a cf 50, but I didnt tell you that.
Same width & lenth, just higher, yes the smaller fridge basket is higher, you read it right

BCF have a 25% sale that ends tonight, should be able to pickup your Waeco CFX wireless gauge there.

Rays Outdoors just had a 20% off sale + 20% credit. I picked up a CFX50 for $1039 and it gave me $207 credit to use in store (it's like paying $832 for a CFX50).

Used the $207 credit to purchase a transit bag, wireless temp gauge and camping accessories whilst also on sale and earning another 20% credit (now have $40 to spend in store).

Thanks Jamie, knew about the sale but didn't think about this being included in the term "camping equipment". Just placed an order along with a bunch of other stuff I needed for the GTG.

It wasn't quite 40% off, the 20% credit was off the reduced price, just had a look at my account to confirm. Still a good deal and I have $30 credit sitting there to use. Didn't think of the temp gauge on the day or my existing credit just now, would have made it just a bit over $38. Never mind, I'm sure I can find something else at Ray's to spend the credit on.

It's unreal how some of the portable fridge cost more than a decent stainless steel fridge.

Has anyone had any dealings with or knowledge of Opposite Locks fridges? I believe its the same compressor as Waeco and they all come with a three year warranty. The 50L is $799.00 with travel bag and that's the normal retail price.

Waeco used to use a Danfoss compressor but now they use a Waeco branded one. Someone at the GTG will find out how good the OL fridges are as there's one being given away as a prize.

I got my cf60 four years ago with travel pack from a caravan supply shop for $899 and sold the extras for about $200 on eBay (stupid shit like seat cooler cover, thermo box, hd cable etc)

Waeco cf40 at rays now $699 with cover.

Arguably the best value for $ fridge right now. I know where I'd be going if I needed one or 2.

So 80 ltrs for $$1400, double the reliability, dedicated fridge and freezer, bigger & cheaper than a dual zone.

I went for a dual zone (CFX65 DZ) so I only have to run juice to 1 fridge. I can see how running 2 separate fridges would be a good thing though.

For me in the 150 with the higher floor and with no roof platform the extra space taken up by a 2nd fridge is needed for luggage. Time will tell if that works out to be the right choice. When I bought mine BCF had a sale, think it was 25% off, plus it came with a pack of extra goodies including the stand.
