Wiring diagrams for Prado Grande 08

Help needed by anyone who may have wiring schematic for a Landcruiser Prado Grande 08 model or copy in pdf format.

I am trying to wire up a rear fog light switch and can't seem to find any plug for the switch to connect into behind the switch panel on the right side of the stearing wheel.

I found a link on the Dubai Petrol Heads web site :

This outlines the way to connect the rear fogs and the switch but it describes a white electrical box with a green stripe on it to plug the actual switch into. However the only spare plug/electrical box that I can see appears to be a black one and it is of a different shape for the switch.

Wondering if anyone has a wiring schematic to show where the switch should connect into and which fuse it should be connected to, colours of wires etc.

The rear fog lights (Red ones in the rear bumper) have slotted in niceley to replace the factory fitted reflectors and the wiring harness for them was also there as part of the factory wiring system, but cant understand why there is no switch connector behind the dashboard.

Any help of guidance appreciated.

If you did a search the topic " Finally Rear Fog Lamp Insatalation " viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2802 There are lots of information there for you to connect your rear fog lamp. Hope it helps

It appears that the plug with the green stripe is only on left hand drive models. The guys here in Oz can't seem to locate this plug.

Yes thats correct.

It would appear from posts that the Aussie models have the wire harness fitted for the fog lamps at the rear but there is no wire harness internally for the switch. How does Toyota expect the lamps to operate if fitted !!

Therefore if anyone has fitted a fog lamp switch internally on a Australian model, would appreciate some guidance on how to connect the switch as I simply have no idea where to start.

The factory service manual / wiring diagram shows a switch (Part number 90980-12113). It has an 8 pin connector and for RHD models the location is shown above and slightly to the right of the internal fuse block.
