Only thing that cause some drama was the ignition cutout on the auto tranny selector chucked a wobbly a couple of times. Want to hear the funny bit.... they traded it on a 1st series Magna! It only did 220,000 trouble free K's before it was traded on a Eunos 500 (think fancy Mazda). The Eunos has had a multitude of things go wrong... Just to add to this little story, I had a JD Camira (poverty pack manual 1.6) that I did about 80,000K's in... drove it flat out everywhere, just added petrol and a couple of oil changes. Traded that on a N13 Nissan Pulsar SSS (same Camira motor) and it did 230,000+ k's before I traded it in. It was still going strong. I know of a few other Camira's that couldn't be killed, so in my experience, they don't deserve their terrible reputation.

I know this is getting off the topic of the original post but..... I managed to break the crank shaft in mine. Lucky I had just got off the Mitchell Freeway (in Perth) and wasnt that wasnt on the Gibb River Road at the time. After spending two pay packets in a row on repairs I decided enough was enough.
