I my humble view, the Australian version is crap. It is just a poor copy of the original.

I think that the Aussie version is alright. Given that they would get nowhere near the budget of the BBC version,therefore you won't see Shane Jacobson drifting a Bugatti Veyron around the test track!!!

I like the tests between the best of what Australia has to offer, but watching Ford v Holden and FPV v HSV will get a little tiresome.

Saying that I will watch most of the series I think...

It's interesting to watch the first series of the BBC Topgear before captain slow joined the team. Very low budget back then and also very low audience turn up each week. The show has elvolved massivley over the years to the extent that you watch the originals and find it rather difficult to stomache.
