    I just bought a brand new prado from Windsor Toyota. Got to say pretty poor customer service, negotiated a full tank of fuel in sale but didn't look right so filled up 2klm from dealer to find I added another $55. Also have not got a call from the dealer to see how car is going since I bought it about 1 month ago. Only call was from used carsalesman who called wanting info on the car I traded, said he had nothing to do with new car sale.
    Having said all that we do love the prado

      You only dealt with their new car side (and the swanky office), imagine what it would have
      been like if you were down at the peasant end with the Atco huts, which was where
      I was.

        My experience with WIndsor Toyota Used Cars was very positive. Staff were very obliging and helpful to my requests and I didn't feel pressured at all. Mind you, when searching for a Used Car, you certainly see the good the bad and ugly. You've really got to do your due diligence and have a strategy particularly when the sharks start circling.

        The other thing is, be prepared to walk even if you intend on coming back. I once walked from a deal only to have the guy ring me back to try and negotiate.

          When we purchased our Prado we were given the "how's this for a deal" printout detailing RRP++. I think it was around $67K (this is in 2006). I mentioned that there was adverts on tele for $48,990 driveaway, so the knob says 'ohh, is there, I'll go check" or something like that. Comes back with new "deal", the tele one! haha! Tosser!

            I find that a bit strange, as the salesman (the one in the wheelchair, cannot remember his name) sent me an email a few days after the sale to see how the Prado was going, also phoned me some time after that to ask how the Prado was travelling. After the service, I received a phone from the Service Dept. to see how the Prado was going.
