Re: My Avatar
Hi Wazza78,
I had the same problem when I recently attempted to post my new avatar. In the end, I uploaded my avatar to my photobucket account, and then linked to it. You will see, on the page where you attempted to upload your avatar, there is a field for entering a URL.
Cheers,

Re: My Avatar
Hi Gilletts, when using photo bucket for a photo u use the "img" link for a photo and for a avator u use the "direct link" which is the second one, hover your mouse over your picture and the 4 links will come up down the bottom. Copy that direct link into the avator setup "link off site" box( i think it is this one if not the one above) and hit submit.
Make sure your photo is within the size limits. hope this makes sense as i am no real computer savy myself but have self taught myself how to do these things from trail and error.Rob

Hutch, your spot on mate, thats what I did to update my avatar just yesterday.Originally posted by HutchHi Gilletts, when using photo bucket for a photo u use the "img" link for a photo and for a avator u use the "direct link" which is the second one, hover your mouse over your picture and the 4 links will come up down the bottom. I already had a photo on photobucket that I wanted to use, however, it was not within the size constraints for use as an avatar (it is a full sized photo). So i added "th_" (with out quotations) infront of the file name - this gave me a thumbnail sized image of the original!!! All resized automatically by photobucket...
Example: http://www.photobucket.com/................/......../th_P1023984.jpg
If your not with photobucket, but your image hosting site allows "thumbnail links" then the link can be removed and just the thumbnail used...

Re: My Avatar
Its getting a bit of topic, but i reckon if you are going to do a bit of 4Wdriving then a 2" suspension lift would be the best value for money mod to improve the performance both on and off road. Loads of info in the suspension section on all the various options.Originally posted by TheGillettsThatsa go!! What do you think has been your most worthwhile modification? Re: My Avatar
Guys if the 4WD game is new to u, best mod is a 4WD course, get to know your car and what it can do, after that, some good tyres, normally an All terrain, snorkel and then lift, if u r camping a far bit the dual battery is handy. They would be my choices, have a look at my Build up, link is under my signature.Originally posted by TheGillettsThatsa go!! What do you think has been your most worthwhile modification?
