    Where is the best place to buy MaxTrax - Sydney

    Looking to pick up a set of MaxTrax this weekend before I goto Stockton on Sunday. The best price I've seen so far is $295 on eBay. Anyone seen or know of better pricing around the Sydney area?
    My Rig: 150 GXL D4D, Tough Dog adjustable suspension with 60mm lift, Polyair bags, ARB Winch Bar, Warn Winch with Dynamica Rope, Outback Ideas recovery points, GME UHF, HID Low/High Beam, Lightforce Genesis HID Spots, Dual Battery Setup with rear power outlets, ARB air compressor in engine bay, ~30L Watertank mounted behind fueltank.

    Much cheaper option, find a bread tray (the large ones that they deliver bread on to shops), cut out pieces just wider than your tyre and as long as you want. Works perfect, takes up less space and is free!

        We have never needed to use in mud, but the person who told us about them says they work well. They are excellent in sand.

          I see. Funny that, I was cleaning out the garage last weekend and found 3 bread trays. I've put them aside but still keen on those maxtrax....

            I got a set from DiscountCarAccessories a while back, the discount code had expired, I rang them and they gave me the $10 off anyway! Great service!

              Thx guys, i cornered the boys at traction 4 artarmon.who i got my bar from and they looked after me eith $280. No complaints

                got mine from BCF a week or so ago, $295 with a free set of handheld UHF radios (bout $80), not sure if still on special.

                  I did the same, but only after joining up with their loyalty card scheme and got a 20% discount for my first purchase. (but no radios, which I didn't want anyway)

                        Nice not too sure about the black coloured ones though... harder to see at night and even harder if it gets burried haha..

                        I forgot to mention that they might give you a pradopoint discount... basically $10 off another item with every maxtrax purchase. The coupon has expired, but I emailed them and they kindly extended the offer

                          Black ones are stealthy and look the part on my black ARB roof rack without screaming "steal me". 8)
