How to include a link to another post?

Can anyone tell me how to include a link to another post in a post that you are creating.
I have done a search but all I can find is how to include photos. I guess I must have missed something somewhere :?:

Copy the link from the post you want to include by clicking on it at the top and paste it into your new post. Copy and paste.

Copy the link from the post you want to include by clicking on it at the top and paste it into your new post. Copy and paste.

IN ADDITION to the above, once you have pasted the link in its raw form (as above) then do the following to make it a bit easier [as well as looking smarter] for others to see what the link is about:

1. highlight the entire hyperlink

2. click on the button that says "URL" above the post window - this will insert "" at either end of your hyperlink

3. cut the first appearing closed square brackets symbol from the link and replace with an equals symbol - ie remove the "]" symbol and add "="

4. paste the closed squared brackets symbol (as removed in step 3) at the end of your hyperlink just prior to the next open squared brackets symbol - ie "insert "]" before the next appearing [/url]"

5. write a descriptor for the link between the first appearing closed squared brackets symbol and the first appearing open squared brackets symbol - ie http://abcdefghi.com/viewtopic=12345] WRITE DESCRIPTOR TEXT HERE BETWEEN THE TWO SQUARE BRACKETS SYMBOLS [

if you do it correct, your link will look something like this in the post window (NOTE: I am using normal brackets symbols instead of squared brackets symbols specifically to allow the effect to be visible in the post):
