Yestrday I hade to take a load of counter weights and lifting beam up to Ravensworth for one of our local crane companys for their 200 ton crane, 3 seml loads to get all the counter weights there, to lift some rail maintance gear on to 4 floats to go to Port Headland.Just before they were to do the last lift, the biggest lift, the machine broke down and could not be motored in to the lifting position. In to the draws in the back of one of the Hi Lux's and out came the recovery kit,hook up the winch extension strap and drag the machine in under the crane all 62ton of machine.

that float has got 11 axles and 8 wheels on each axle and weighs 55 ton empty
