Faulty Transmission

We have a 2008 GXL Prado D4D Auto & have the transmission currently in repair under warranty. It is now 16 days & still no word on when we can have our family car on the road. Has anyone had similar probs?

First noticed this problem when the car did not change up gears properly, & the engine light came on. This became more frequent, but mostly the car performed normally, took it to Toyota & said we shouldn't drive it until this is fixed. Still waiting it's 3 weeks now! The transmission was pulled from the car & being rebuilt in Brisbane.
