Should be a good unit and pretty well comparable to the older TX3220 or TX3420 (which I have and includes the remote head and basic channel function on handpiece) and I understand that these ones are software upgradable (at GME) to allow for the new 80 channel standards (but I've heard this is only being adopted in the Eastern States :? ).

I will possibly looking at getting the TX3340 later in the year if the 80 channel format goes ahead nationally and I find there is conflict between my unit with only 40 channels and others running 80 channels.
