bloody hell that water is flowing at a rate of knots, lets hope no lives are lost, is there going to be an end to all the rain. cheers samohad an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear. -

Unfortunately there was at least one death in Toowoomba and there is thought to be a vehicle washed away in Gatton with possibly a mum and 3 young ones.
Not good at all.

I think the count is now 3,and a mate of mine who lives there reckons they are pulling bodies out of cars now and the count will go much higher. Bugger me this is as worse as I have ever seen things up this way.....for those reading from elewhere you cannot imagine the rain....it has teemed down for 5 days, a slight reprieve in Brizvegas today but storms all around us.....I heard 320 Mls (yes not a misprint) in the Sunshine Coast hinterland last night and looking a the radar they are copping it again tonight.150 Silver Diesel GXL Auto with ECB Bullbar, Toyota Factory towbar, Black Widow Drawer system with Fridge slide and cargo barrier, GME UHF 3340 Radio, Waeco 50 Litre Fridge, Rhino Racks and Rhino Basket, ARB Awning, IPF XS Spotties, ABR Sidewinder Dual Battery system,Airtec Snorkel, Bilstien Shockies, King Springs, Poly Airbags and BFG A/T''s. Now towing a semi offroad Lotus Freelander 18.6 Van, with all the bells and whistles.Comment

Not good in Qld ATM, Wivenhoe Dam is at 175%, Brisbane is going under as I write this, and Toowoomba and the other towns at the bottom of the range copped it all yesterday, Brisbane is copping a king tide todat and tomorrow, so the waters will inundate homes today then receed and then get them again tomorrow.97 VX Grande, with front & rear air lockers, ARB Sahara winch bar with tigers 11 winch, 2" EFS lift, 265/75/16 Achilles Desert hawk XMT, and more.

For all the technological advances of our society we don't don't stand a chance when old mother nature decides to turn it on! Very much thinking of the people caught up in this, i gather suburbs in Brisbane are going under as i type this.
I also hear that Broken Hill is expecting 6 months worth of rain tomorrow, so could be another disaster area. Having been in Towoomba a few months ago it is hard to imagine how that much water could flow through the middle of town.
What the fire fighters battling the blaze in WA wouldn't do for a bit of this rain.
