Hi looking for some advice , just bought the prado am looking to go up the tanami track .like to know what tires others recommend , also need to fit a roof basket for the tent have a OZ tent any suggestions welcome on preparations that would be needed
have had some replies thanks .
am following up on the rear fit out which is screwless so can be taken out when not in use .

1st - What are you taking with you?
2nd - Exactly what are you planning to do out there?
3rd - Are other vehicles going with you?
4th - Do you have recovery gear and what?
5th - Budget on gear you would like?
6th - what time of year are you going?

Need more info so that we can advise you better, otherwise it will be too generalised.
One thing that will be important is a good roofrack, one that will not fall apart or ruin the roof of the vehicle.

If you do a search/look around you'll find plenty on the subject of on trip preparation. Maybe try searching "Tanami" as well.
look at both 120 and 150 forums - the principles are basically the same
I very rarely have to post a new question here because most of the time, I find my answer with 5 min of searching.
