        Probably re-posting but there's heaps in/around the city:

        -Melb Museum and iMax (next to each other) definitely take the kids to iMax and see one of their 3D documentary's. Craps on the "3D" you get at a cinema or on your TV, they'll love it

        -Fed Square, check out ACMI which is in fed square, http://www.acmi.net.au/ there's a great Disney expo on there at that time

        -Don't bother with Docklands

        -Footy @MCG or Etihad Stadium. If you're really interested in sport the MCG museum is pretty good too, open all the time as far as I'm aware

        -Might be other sporting events (or concerts maybe) at Rod Laver Arena and Hisense Arena

        -St Kilda beach and Luna Park

        -Skydeck at Eureka Tower - google it, amazing view from up there
