I would presonally hang off for a bit and give it a go with just the rear so you get an appreciation for the traction gain from the locker. Then see if you need a second for the type of off road fun you do (you didn't mention that in your request for advise so it's very hard to give any) How much off road had you done with your Prado (not sure what model as you didn't mention that either) prior to fitting the Locker? Does your vehcile have traction control or any DAT?
Well I have front and rear air lockers in my 90, best thing I ever did.
Lots of fun when you make it easerly to the top of a badly rutted hill and the Patrols that are with you don't make it, or brake something trying.

My plan is to eventually have front and rear locked and tag along to patrol gathering (patrolpoint.com ?) and show em what locked Prado can do because we all know Patrol owners think of Prados

The only downside to having both is that if you are driving with others that aren't as capable when you do get stuck it will be just you to get back out again!

Yes they are a very special bunch, almost like Jeep or Rover owners.
About 18 months ago I was out at a 4wd park, and one Patrol owner (who just had his vehicle in a 4wd mag was acting like his vehicle was the best out there and was twin locked)) got to a hill that I just drove up on the first try easerly, took him 6 attempts to get up the hill, and when he did, he tore one tyre and smashed the rim, there were another bunch of Patrol owners (one was one of my mates) tryin to get up the same hill and couldn't.

You just need to be sensible, and not put yourself into a position that either you or the others can not get you out of.

The comment was made tongue in cheek but also speaking from personal experience. A long time ago now but a group of us went 4wding and we got to a point where it was getting uncomfortable. Nearly all of us had small kids on board and there wasn't anything to see or do so we bailed and went back to our camp for a coffee and afternoon tea. One hero kept going after telling us all that he had diff locks and couldn't be stopped. Well it could and it did and he was on his own. Marvellous what a couple of hours digging can do to morale and self confidence. Mind you years ago on a previous property I hand winched my 4wd 30m through a dam (about 600mm of water) and that was enough to make me think twice about getting stuck on my own...

I have a front air locker fitted to my 150 and will be getting an air locker on the rear asap.
Had a bit of a play over New Years and the front locker was brilliant.
I have 2 fitted and 2 weeks ago went fishing, it was a 60k dirt road that was just graded so no problems getting in. Well it started raining and really good so the trip out was interesting. The 2 ton strap that holds the boat to the trailer snapped and we were all over the road, real slop pit. Put her in 4h and locked up (roads were pretty much straight line) and the fish tailing was reduced by 80%, this was more a traction thing as there was no fear of getting bogged. Got out ok but the main reason it turned to crap was the amount of fishos that were there. The Arnhem Hwy was under water when we got to it and still rising so there was a great water crossing, upto the top of my wheels and flowing, a rental corolla went through with the back end floating so no probs for me.

Now I was told at work by a Jeep owner, top bloke even if a jeep owner lmao. Get the the front first, as going up a gradient, what pulls you up there, the front of course, since the Prado has the LSD in the back wouldnt that sought of act like it should and grip the one side if one wheel is off the ground. Might be showing my hell ignorance here hahah
