Wave Hill Station

Hi I was considering a few days camping in a week or so at a property called Wave Hill Station. It is off the Braxner Highway on the Clarence river about 250 Ks from the Gold Coast. It looks to be a great place to to spend a few days. Access to camping areas is via four wheel drive only.
Anyone been there?

I am going down there on the 25th for three night so I will let you know what it is like. Great place for a bit of fishing I hear, and is also pet friendly.

Wow what an experience !! Trip in to camp area about one hour over interesting "track" No way would you get out if the area received a heavy rain. Nice camp areas, virtually no facilities. Had all 7000 hectares on my own !! Rather expensive at $25 per night. Gordon Country would leave it for dead.

Got any photos of the area, camp sites, your trip? Might encourage (discourage?) others from adding it to their destination lists...
