You got some good points Darren - you only have to look at the demise of Angus & Robertson to see how electronic media is killing the book.

I still like having the mag though - don't know about taking an iPad into the dunny...

There is something therapeutic and 'relaxing' about turning actual pages...

Not in the Magazine but in the latest DVD, Tassie west coast. I notice during one of the snatch recoveries that honest Don from TJM is standing between the two vehicles and not very far away at all. You would think that between them all they could get the basics of recovery safety correct :roll: after all I reckon a lot of the 4Wdriving public gets most of their training from watching Roothy :wink:

Dont take the mag too seriousy, its good for a laugh or two, I dont agree with everything thats printed, nor do I agree with everything said in this forum Thats the great thing, we all have opinions and should be able to voice them freely, and as Australians, have a laugh. I look forward to my magazine each month, I enjoy flicking through pages, I dont even mind seeing the ads and seeing whats new on the market. Those that dont like it, vote with your feet and dont buy it, or, as previously suggested, write to the editor, they do seem to take suggestions seriously. I think they are a pretty reasonable representative of the 4wd community and have done more than their fair share of lobbying as well. Nuff said.
