  • Problems running Ozi on my Navman S50

    Hi,
I have browsed the forums (fora?) and managed to unlock the Navman. I have loaded OziExplorerCE plus maps, both .map and .ozf2 files in the map folder on an SD card.

I can get Ozi to load, but I cannot get it to open any of the .map files. It doesn't come up with an error message, it just sits there loading NMEA information from the GPS antenna signal.

    What am I missing here?

Another issue: the information in the Navman Unlocked wiki is pretty cryptic about how to create a shortcut to Ozi (or any other program) either in the File menu or on the Desktop - what do I need to do here?

    geez I love computers :?

OK - checked the map paths and the file names and got Ozi to load the map file and find me. Next I will have to fool around with settings as the font size seems too big.

But, back to my second question - how to get a short cut to Ozi on the desktop or in the File menu? The Navman Unlocked wiki doesn't make sense to someone who is only marginally computer literate.
