Thanks for that but I was aware of this posting and read most of it. I tried to find digoptions on ebay but the serch came up (no longer listed), I then searched the product code with 0 results, so thats why I posted this question. I have since googled digoptions and also found him on ebay so I don't know what went wrong the first time around.
I have spoken to matt and they have a new moddle AVN11TP to replce TP09X1 as talked about in this thread. I am in the process of purchasing from him and will post my findings after installation.

I recently purchased an AVN11TP from Matt at Dig_Options.

Delivery was prompt, and the install was straightforward - the supplied wiring looms just plug straight in. The hardest part is running the wiring for the reverse camera and then shoving all the necessary cables etc behind the unit when you put it all back together.

Since then the unit has operated without any problems. On road navigation is fine, and I have loaded the HEMA maps and authorised OziExplorer. Seems to work without any issues - will give it a test in a couple of weeks when we head North.

8GB micro SD card works fine - about to try a 16GB card to see if that works.

          Hi Fish,
I have just checked Dig Options on e-bay. He is still there.
I searched for "prado GPS" and his was the fourth or fifth listing.
You can pick it from the " stock in Melbourne" banner across the top of his item photo.
I have one of these and love it. My decision to buy from this supplier was swayed by the fact that he ( and warranty ) are in Australia, even though the product like all the others is made off-shore. The feedback and help that Matt has gives on this website also gave me confidence to buy.
The item No. on e-bay is 250896253124.

Good luck with your purchace choice.

          Peter.

I have installed the AVN11TP into my Prado and am very impressed with the unit. Most of the problems discussed in the Dig_Options TP09X1 GPS thread seems to be fixed as I just pluged it in and it worked.
Unfortunatly I have TWO issus with the operation of it (hopefully minor)
1/ When logging into the GPS, on the main screen I touch the Navigation icon and a fault comes up ( the error message seems to be in both German and English)
The english message is :- "\StorageCard\NaviOne\icons\background.bump"
I think it is looking for a file that is not there.

2/ The reverse camera does not come on automaticly when the car is put in reverse.
It appears that my vehicle wiring loom does not support a reverse camera as there was no spare vidio plug in the tailgate as discussed on the above thread, and therefore does not have the activation wire at the head unit.
The rear camera is wired to the reverse lights and has been double checked.
On the unit SRC main screen, bottom middle is a reverse camera icon. When pressed the reverse camera works but for less than 1 minut.
I have emailed matt and am waiting a reply, but would appreciate any reply from anyone with information on these issues. My car is a 2007 auto 120 series Prado and surprised I could not find the spare cables in the tailgate as I followed the wiring loom right to the end.

I hope someone can help me out with these issues
            Thank you
            Laurie

So many questions, why not go to Google, search the key word, car DVD player in the chart, you will find out what you want to know.
