Thats cheap. I don't Know the quality of the unit but i run the oziexplorer and IGO8 on my incar radio gps dvd player i got on Ebay from Digoptions Works well. you will need a license for oziexplorer to get it out of Demo mode (will cost $40 for the license) Also some more detailed mapping like the Hema Maps added to the oziexplorer make it really good.

You can buy 7inch GPS from HK on ebay for about $110 running IGO8 then get a bigger MicroSD card and add Ozi explorer to it, depends what the cost of buying the maps.

Well the GPS unit turned up in the post today and tried it out, one of the best $300 spent. The ozi explorer maps are good plus loads of extras, radio, music media, games, etc. Very Happy.

By the looks of it the nav software will probably run off the microSD card like my Extreme Electronics unit does so it should only be limited by the size of the memory card. Interestingly it says you can only use "up to 8 Gig MicroSD card" which seems a bit limiting, I'm not sure if that really is a limitation or if you can use whatever size you want. I ended up using 16 Gig of memory by the time I put the OziExplorer software plus Hema maps plus 100k topo maps onto the card.

                    Dave.

                      Which GPS DVD ?

Hi, i have been looking at these GPS DVD Bluetooth reverse camera, even 3G units on EBay for a while now. There is also 6.2" or 7" or a 8" model. I actually phoned the one guy who said he was a Sydney seller. He does have a local mobile number but sounds like he talking from China. He tried to convince me thanthe new 6.2 " at $629 is much better than the older 6.2 " unit for less than $300. Some aspects that are very difficult to evaluate online is:
                      1. Sound Quality on Stereo
                      2. Screen Quality
                      3. How fast and reliable GPS is and ability to load offroad maps.
                      4. Bluetooth capability seem to vary as some upload your phonebook and you can search contacts.
                      5. Some claim to have the latest software
                      6. Reliability - Warranties are vertually useless if you buy on the internet so it is critical to know which product will last .

I hate getting inferior quality and/or paying too much. Please let us know exactly who you bought it from your unit(s) from and more details on the functionality and quality. This would help me (and I am sure others as well) a lot please.
