Hi all,
Haven't been on for a while but I'm re-visiting the "Which GPS" question for a few reasons. I've been looking at the Navman MY80T and MY85XLT models as both can run Hema maps (downloadable for a fee on the Navman site). DSE currently have the MY85XLT for $198 which is only $1 more than the MY80T. Feature wise the MY85XLT has a 5" screen vs 4.7" on the MY80T, it also has voice input for entering the destination address. Other than that I haven't been able to find any other differences.
I've read some negative comments on other forums about the MY85XLT but I'm wondering if these people are just expecting too much from a GPS, after all they aren't there to replace our brains LOL. Is there any reason other 4WD owners can give to not get this unit?
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 smartphone but I find the screen display area just a little too small for practical navigation use and the Navigon app seems to be a cut down version.
Cheers,
Fido666
