  • Hema service what a joke

    Sent my hema navigator in for what was supposed to be a free update 8 weeks and $250 later it turned up in the post missing half the screws that hold it together the other half were loose

    I haven't been happy with the new hema either. It's already been returned twice due to a faulty battery and the maps not loading correctly. Next time it breaks I think it will go in the bin so will be on he lookout for another brand, any suggestions

        Mines the early hn5 got it upgraded to the hn5i haven't used it since I got it back will see how it goes if its no good it'll be heading for the bin too look for an in dash one I think

          When I turn mine on it lets me know my maps aren't up to date. I plugged it into my laptop and it doesn't recognize the device. What do I do next to get the maps updated

            Dreamon,

            I do not have one of these units, however a quick check on the Hema site looks to explain (depending on OS) that you need
            Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center installed and that you need to put the Hema unit into a specific "mode" when connecting.
