I have an iPhone on my left running the Memory-Map application, and a Garmin 60Csx on my right with Shonky Maps. It's worked pretty well. I use the Garmin only when on the Adventure Bike.
I also have the Memory-Map application on the iPad, but haven't mounted that yet. Am considering a RAM mount off the "Jesus Bar" on the passenger side. That way it will sit centrally, and be cooled by the aircon vents.
