Hi All,
just scored a Garmin nuvi 40 from good guys for $85 with lifetime maps !!! as the offer ends next week I thought bet their sold out and of course they were but the salesman said if you want to pay for it now we'll get you one which they did , cant believe it I actually won one woohoo............

I've logged onto The Good Guys but the Garmin Nuvi 40 isn't offering lifetime maps it is the Garmin 2455LMT for $217 so you have scored well

i'm not sure of the difference in models.... but...

DSE have the 2350 for $50.... don't think the lifetime map update applies to this model tho

The LMT designation stands for "Life Time Maps". Pity Farmin can't work out a better memory system to store tracks.

Sounds like a good cheap deal.

Just be aware that "lifetime" refers to the products life and not yours. Typically this will be a maximum of five years but that is still longer than most GPS units last (for me anyway).
