  • 2014 GXL Prado Navigation Options

    All,

I am looking at the options to get GPS Navigation installed in my 2014 GXL and didn't realise this was going to be such a challenge.

I am unreliably told that the GXL has a different loom to the VX and Kakadu so upgrading to the Factory GPS is out of the question.

I checked the audio guys and they promise the world then deliver an atlas.

I have seen an aftermarket system by autoxtrem but at $1600 and several glitches according to the guy who has one, I am not wanting to risk it.

Surely someone has done this previously and knows the answers rather than me asking a million questions....

I know the smart way would be windscreen mounted but.......
