    Motorone gps

    Hi all,
    Im after some info on the Motorone in dash GPS/rear camera unit.
    I just ordered the unit from my Toyota dealer but apparently they are quite new and they have very little info on them. Mine will be the first they have installed so they say.
    I have tried to search the web but to no avail, the dealer told me the unit was made by Pioneer, the price is $3995 installed.

      I know, but it was cheaper than the official Toyota one thats on the website.
      Plus it comes with the 5 year warranty whereas the aftermarket ones dont, Im also buying the car on a lease package so I figured Id load it up to get full tax relief on the extras.

      I did look into the Polaris unit which seems to be popular on here but to be honest I didnt fancy having a couple of youngsters from the local Strathfield ripping into my new car!
      Ill leave it to the Toyota guys.....piece of mind.

        I really hate paying for technology when I know that next year it will be 1/2 price with twice as many features.

              To answer my own question

              Its a Pioneer AVIC- HD3, the dealer just had some info about it today.

              Toyota will be installing these units from now on, I think they are better than the old Eclipse units.
