Pomp, If yours is the same as mine, in the settings all you need to do is change the directory of the default Navigation program to start Ozi. Note there may be two icons in the Ozi folder to execute the program. No need to muck around with GS finder or anything.

Also get rid of Route 66 it's crap, download IGO8. It's much better, maps and voice directions are far superior.

    Have fun with it.

    Cheers

      Hi Pomp Snowy,
I totally agree with Snowy re IGO it is also far superior to my NAVTEQ program.
I needed to load OZI CE and the associate Maps to a second 2GB SD card rename the OZI "application file" to "MobileNavigator" I have IGOV8 on one SD card and OZI on another SD card and interchange them depending on trips.
      Hope this helps a little

Cheers guys, I'm picking up a 2gb card tomorrow as it seems the easiest solution.
One thing though I dont think Route 66 is too bad, everyone seems to slag it but I find it fine, very accurate.
I was going to stick it in the wifes car for day to travelling and use it in the Prado with the Ozi card loaded at weekends.

          Pomp,
R66 was ok for me except the voice commands are haywire. Telling me to turn left just as I go round a sweeping corner, I could not believe how bad it was. After I tried IGO8, there was no turning back, maps are better, voice commands actually accurately told me where to go (Bit like my Commanding Officer Home Front does at home.).

I am no street GPS expert, I have not tried Navman, Tom Tom etc , but IGO8 crapped on the R66 I had on my GPS when I recieved it. It was probably a cracked copy anyway though. Living in the regionals there's not really much need for street GPS for me anyway so I hardly use it, would be very handy in the big smokes though.

If you can find a download for IGO8 give it a go.

          Cheers

Route 66 does seem to give out a lot more voice commands, I actually ran Route 66 and my 'built in' gps at the same time (whereis) and R66 gave out a lot more voice commands, nearly double in fact so I would imagine if its not working absolutley correctly it would drive us nuts.
But it took me around a series of twisty back streets very well giving voice instruction of where to turn within a few feet.
But on the negative side the operation of the menus etc is a bit fiddley but thats more down to the unit in which its housed rather than the software itself maybe.

My wireless Navlink reverse camera has stopped working already - got a few good weeks out of it though.

No complaints about the GPS - great system for the price.

Is this the same Navlink GPS unit mentioned in this thread (minus reversing camera)?

Hopefully yes. I've just got one and yet to play with it but will let you know. Otherwise seems like a pretty good unit.

Re: NAVLINK GPS and reverse camera

They are still flogging these on flea-bay. The model is now Navlink 4530, with the Reverse Camera.
The only difference I can pick up is apparently doesnt have Ext Antenna point. I sent a PM to a seller who advised in broken English txt reply that it didnt take ext aerial,

Does anyone have any reports on this particular model?

That's still the older model I do believe, although the main difference is the newer one has a 4gb internal storage. However I don't have a lot of time for the seller, I've sent multiple emails requesting the IGO8 software to be sent out to me as I need to reinstall it after some issues and haven't got a reply. I also requested express postage when I ordered at my cost so I would have the unit before I went away and it was totally ignored. I'm not saying don't buy from them, but just be aware they have after sales issues.!
