Mine came up with a fatal error about 4 weeks ago and when I emailed them they said I needed a new SD card which they would send out as it should still be under warrenty.
Well I am still waiting, not sure what to do next as I have sent numerous emails. Can anyone else recommend a good GPS with 4wd tracks on it.
That will be the third unit I've heard of with what appears to be the same problem. Nothing will boot up and the blame is on the SD card.
These would have to be the worst gps available. Route 66 is the pits. Major highways that haven't been alterred for years, it can't even get right Hema is the most expensive mistake I have ever made.
Cheers
Graeme
All is not lost, you can pick up IGO8 from E-bay pretty cheap. Just load that on the SD card as well, is that possible or have they locked it all up somehow? You may lose your warranty though. Not too late to take it back for a refund?
Navigo - 7 Inch Touch Screen GPS iGo8 Australia Maps
I got rid of the hema, I was looking at a Navigo - 7 Inch Touch Screen GPS iGo8 Australia Maps advertised on ebay. Has anyone had any experience and can I load the hemma offroad maps onto it.
tnx
Graeme
Check with the seller if the Nav software is stored on the SD card, if so that will mean you should be able to run an executable program from it. Then you should be able to load/run Oziexplorer from the SD card, the demo version is a free download to try it. Probably check what version of Windows CE the GPS is running first too.
