This is the map site the Dept of Lands has put together for NSW:
https://six.maps.nsw.gov.au/wps/portal/
Click on the "Six Viewer" link, bottom right of the page. You may need to install and ECW plugin for the browser.
As well as having 2.5m SPOT satellite imagery over the entire state, it also has high-res 50cm imagery over quite a few 1:100K mapping blocks as well as 10-20cm imagery over towns, these are constantly being updated as we fly more areas (when the plane's not broken down... ). Along with the imagery there are raster versions of the topo maps, along with roads and cadastral boundaries etc. You can also do searches on addresses, lot numbers etc.
The site can be a bit slow and clunky at times but it's slowly getting better.
It might prove useful for planning trips and so on. Or just spying on neighbours.
