Called up a local tonkins store and asked if they had those blanking plates for the sides of the stereo.. They said they do and when asked how much they are(after knowing toyota is trying to sell a pair for $38) he said FREE, we've got hundreds lying around.. Anyhow, got down there and felt guilty as there was not one person in sight, and their workshop was empty so I bought some generic audio cable that I could use in my upcoming install.. All up $10 bucks well spent!

Grrr, Unit arrived yesterday, like I mentioned above I really wanted this for the reverse camera screen capability. And what was the one thing that didnt work on arrival! Yep, the reverse screen. Just did some testing and camera works OK into the TV off DC plug pack but not into the car stereo (on the same DC plug pack)!!

Am looking out for another unit, hopefully can get a refund on this.. maybe look at spending a few more pennies. As the saying goes, a poor man always pays twice!
