    Good to hear you got it up and running Oldsalt. :wink:

    On another note, is someone able to open the 'sys' txt file on the SD card and change the resolution? These are on the X and Y axis. Take note of the existing settings. The resolution of the TP09X1 is 1200 x 234 pixels. I just noticed on customers unit today that the resolution of GPS didn't reflect the screen resolution. It's a long shot but this might improve the quality of the GPS.
    Is this the one you mean? In igo8 files...

    [rawdisplay]
    screen_x=480
    screen_y=234

    [debug]
    skip_eula=1

    [interface]
    maxzoom2d=9600
    show_exit=1

      I can't understand how you could have have those setting Matt suggested.

      There are no ig08 skins or themes in that size.

      480x234 seems the best, even though skins and themes for that resolution are rare there are a few around.

        Hi Dave, I had this problem and ended up trimming the plastic moulding around the iPod plug with a stanley knife so that the cable didn't come out of the head unit at such a right angle.

            Have you configured the settings?

            Get into the menu, TV and there is installation, config etc.

            I used the Area Search and it located the stations.

              Hi oldsalt

              Yes done area search and other searches, scans but does not lacate any stations as scanning database is empty. Also have tried puting in frequencies start and end......does a scan but still no stations are located. Tried moving antena, driving to different locations and still no go. The unit apears to be working ok, all plugs checked, just unable to tune to any stations.

              regards

                Hi,

                Under the menu of "MANUAL SEARCH", there is a BANDWIDTH selection.

                Please try the BANDWIDTH of 6Mhz, 7Mhz or 8Mhz.

                You can manually put in frequencies for the channels. I have a list of these frequencies that I can email you if you like.

                Another thought is that if you wired the head unit 'correctly' meaning that you wired the headunit to the hand brake (instead of ground), you will need the handbrake to be engaged to watch.

                You are pushing AUX to watch the TV? As these boxes are wired into AUX inputs.

                Matt

                    Matt
                    I changed the bandwidth to 7Mhz as I found this on the web http://www.digitaltvaustralia.com.au/glossary.asp

                    Bandwidth: The complete range of frequencies over which a circuit or electronic system is allocated to function. In transmission, the Australian. analog and digital television channel bandwidth is 7 MHz.

                        Matt
                        I beat you to it, see my previous post.

                        I just removed the channel cover (it pulls out) and run the wire into the engine bay and through the firewall into the cabin.

                        Just to be safe, I used double sided tape to stick the antenna onto the roof.

                        I placed the antenna at an angle as digital signals are in the main vertical, however, having the angle also covers horizontal signals.

                          Hi again,
                          in regards to the green yellow lines that the reverse camera shows
                          i find them very helpful when reversing.When you are reversing watch the
                          red line that comes across the image, once that red line touches the object
                          behind you (be it car, wall or whatever) that is when you stop, you are only
                          about half a meter away.Also these lines show the extremities of the car if the camera
                          is placed in the middle of the tail gate as with the landcruiser so that could be useful
                          when reversing in tight spots (still use the mirriors).I tested all this today i stood
                          behind the cruiser at the corners at that is where the red line was.
                          Hopefully this helps...
                          Nick..
